Wedding Photography

I am passionate about capturing real, true, love, and believe in the commitment of marriage. I understand how special this decision is to commit your lives to each other, and your wedding images should reflect not only the wedding day, but everything it means and how you felt throughout the day. Your wedding images should take you back to each moment, reminding you of everything it meant to you every time you see them.

Your wedding photography is an investment and you should have no doubt that your wedding images are in good hands. I promise to take the time to get to know you and do my best to make your wedding photography experience as seamless as possible. It's important to me that my clients trust me and my process and that we are a good fit for each other.

I take a limited number of weddings each season to ensure the best experience for my couples.

All packages include edited, high resolution digital images delivered via an online gallery. I also love to travel and offer special rates for destination weddings - email me and let's chat!

My couples invest an average of $4000 + hst for their wedding day.

Jenna & Dave

"Our wedding was an intimate affair with 40 guests in attendance on an early Autumn evening. With such a small gathering it was important to us to have a photographer who captured the big important moments and the candid ones without being intrusive. Kayla was just that; she provided direction when needed, then seamlessly melted into the background of the evening, capturing all our special moments with family and friends. Kayla’s calm demeanour and utmost professionalism is second to none. We couldn’t have imagined having anyone but Kayla capture our day.

"Kayla was an absolute joy to work with. Having no idea what I wanted or what to do, we left it up to Kayla to decide and she did an incredible job! I adore all of my wedding and engagement pictures, Kayla did such a great job of capturing special moments and memories."

Zach & Jane

"We are so pleased with the photos Kayla took of our family! She is so easy and fun to work with, she has creative ideas for photos with whatever space she’s in, and made our shoot feel natural and comfortable, especially being in our own home. I’m so grateful she captured our babe in his newborn stage as it passes so fast. We will always cherish our beautiful photos!"

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How Many Hours of Coverage do I need?

Most couples find that 10 hours of coverage is more than enough for their wedding day. It depends on what details are most important to you, where your events are taking place and how much travel will be necessary.  It's easiest for us to chat to work out a timeline with enough room to capture the memories that mean most to you.

2. Do I need a second photographer?

A second photographer allows another perspective and additional angles, essentially allowing me to be in two places at once! Whether you need a second photographer also depends on what details are important to you and where you will be getting ready. A second photographer allows getting ready coverage across multiple locations without cutting into coverage of other important events of the day.

3. What is your turnaround time for wedding images?

I work very hard to ensure your gallery is delivered to you as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. This is typically 4-6 weeks, however, during peak season can take longer depending on the queue of galleries. I know how exciting it can be anticipating your photos, and I won't keep you waiting longer than necessary!

4. How many images will I receive?

On average, I deliver 50 - 100 images per hour of photography coverage.

5. Do you have any recommended vendors?

Yes! I do. There are so many great vendors out there and it can be hard to find people and know who to trust. I'd be happy to make recommendations.

I like to cover all of this information (and so much more!) in an in-person meeting or a phone chat. Email me today to learn more.
