Hamilton Engagement Photography
In late April, Ben & Allison agreed to wander through a field with myself and the lovely Nautical Studios. After canceling due to rain, we finally made the session happen. My friends kindly let us mosey through their backyard in efforts to find the perfect spot for this session. As the sun slowly began to lower in the sky, we trekked through the woods to find our field. I felt nervous for the session, thinking about everything I wanted to capture. I was also intimidated, as I have known Ben for many years and genuinely wanted to ensure that he and Allison would love their photos. I don’t think my pre-session butterflies and nervousness will ever go away, it happens every time!
As soon as we began, I felt a weight off my shoulders and my worries disappeared. Ben and Allison moved effortlessly and naturally with each other and completely comfortable in front of the camera. I enjoyed running around the field with them, capturing them just being in love with each other, and it reminded me of the excitement I felt the days and months leading up to my own wedding. I say it over and over again - it is such a privilege to share these moments with people. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do and that they give you warm and fuzzies because they're so stinkin' cute!
